Every year, I’m fortunate to be involved with Heart’s wonderful charity, Global’s Make Some Noise. I’ve seen first-hand the real difference your money can make to youngsters living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity and that’s what’s inspired me to step up to this intimidating challenge.
I’m going to walk from Cardiff to London in a week. That’s 7 marathons in 7 days! To say that I’m a little apprehensive is an understatement. Even walking one marathon is a challenge, but doing that every day for seven days in a row is a massively daunting prospect that will push me to my absolute limits.
It’s undoubtedly the toughest thing I’ve ever done and I’d be massively grateful of any donation you can give towards my fundraising target. That support will help to keep me motivated when I’m struggling with all the aches, pains and exhaustion that will inevitably come my way.
Global’s Make Some Noise is Heart’s charity that funds and empowers projects across the UK, helping disadvantaged children, young people and their families.
Life is tough for a child or young person living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity. It can be very isolating for them and their family. Make Some Noise funds vital equipment and life-changing services to help children and young people through challenging times, including therapy, counselling, nursing and support groups.
By supporting Jamie on his Long Walk to London, you can help change young lives.
